2. Create thumbnails
Create your photo thumbnails and upload it to a specific directory for example /images/thumbs/ and all your photos to /images/ directory.
3. Edit XML file
Fist of all edit website title and directories for big images and thumbnails.

9 steps to create pet flash banner slideshow
In this flash tutorial I will show You how to create cool flash banner about animal and petsusing some special flash tricks. You can use this banner for any web sites. Using this lesson, you will also learn how to import any image into a flash library, how to convert it into a Movie Clip
Symbol, how to apply flash filters on it, how to create Motion Tween and much more! You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson.
Example:
Step 1
First, download pets images that we will use for this lesson.
Step 2
Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 350 pixels and the height to 263 pixels. Select white color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 38 and click ok.
Step 3
Call the current layer image 1. Double-click on its default name (Layer 1) to change it. Press Enter once you have typed in the new name!
Step 4
Choose File > Import > Import to Library. In the file explorer window
that appears, find a four images and Shift-click to select them all. Then click open. If you now open your flash library (Ctrl+L key) you will see four images that you just imported.
Step 5
Using the Selection Tool (V) and drag and drop technique, move the first image from flash library on flash stage. After that, while the image is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:
1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.
Step 6
While the image is still selected, hit F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol.
Step 7
Click now on frame 20,60 and 80 and hit F6 key. While you're still on frame 80, select the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the image to select it. Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage.Then, select Filters tab from the left side. Click after that on the plus icon and select the Blur filter. Make the adjustments as follows:
Step 8
Go back on the first frame and repeat the previouse step!
Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and 20 and frame 60 and 80 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.
Create a new layer above the layer image 1 and name it image 2.
Click on frame 70 of layer image 2 and hit F6 key.
While you're still on frame 70, move image 2 from the flash library on the flash stage.
While the image is still selected, repeat steps 5 and 6.
Click now on frame 90,130 and 150 and hit F6 key.
While you're still on frame 150, repeat step 7. Do this also for frame 70.
While you're still on frame 70, select the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the image to select it. Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. After that, On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Alpha in it and put it down to 0%.
Select again frame 150 and repeat the previouse step.
Step 9
Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 70 and 90 and frame 130 and 150 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

XML thumbnails flash slideshow

This tutorial is mainly about how to create XML slideshow with free XML template. Of course you should know something about XML, if so ,it is good, you will feel the tutorial is so easy. If not, we will introduce another flash image gallery creator for you. It need no XML skills and can make various free photo gallery easily.
The tutorial will include two parts:

Step 1: Download free XML gallery template.
Click here to download free XML gallery template and unzip it. The package should include gallery folder, demo.html file, gallery.swf file, and images.XML file.
Open demo.html file or gallery.swf.file to see the original samples as below thumbnail:
Step 2: Add your digital photos to gallery folder.
Choose your favorite photos to add into gallery folder. You can delete or restore the original photos as you like. There is no quantity limitation for digital photos.
Step 3: Make thumbnail images for your digital photos.
From the above screenshot you can find there are small thumbnail images in the bottom, so you need to make thumbnail images for your digital photos too. It's size should be 70px*70px. Then add the thumbnail images to gallery folder.

Open images.XML file with a text editor, such as Dreamweaver MX. You will notice that all images are described with the following XML tags located between the <pic> and </pic> tags. You can place as many images as you want by copy and paste the content between the <pic> and </pic> tags. You just need to revise the red content according to your own requirements.
Step 5: Upload your XML gallery on website.
Copy and past the following HTML code to your website, such as MySpace, Blogger. So long as your website support HTML code, you can put it anywhere as you like. Don't forget to revise the red URL blow to your own URL.
