Free Online SlideShow

I've been asked for many times about how to make a free online slideshow. Generally, I'd recommend www.slide.com , since it's really an excellent site for online slideshows.

Yet, recently surfing the net, I found another: http://www.slideroll.com. That's free with some limiations (say, you could upload 100 photos at most), of course, you could pay $35.40 per year (or $7.50 bimonthly) to go pro.

SlideRoll provide a webpage for each users to show off their slideshows, no matter whether you've paid for it or not. Frankly speaking, it's easy to make a slideshow with that.

1. sign up an account;
   
2. upload your photos from your PC or import from Flickr;
   
3. do some creations to the photos;
   
4. preview and publish;
   

Besides, you will get the HTML code for that slideshow, if you want to show it off on your blog, Myspace, etc.

Greetings to everybody! I am back from my vacation on a small country of China. That's really excenlent! Of course, I've taken a lot of photos and a flash picture slideshow is being made!

YouTube Upload Tips:

• Uploads will usually take 1-5 minutes per MB on a high-speed connection.
• Converting your video takes a few minutes; you can add more info or upload
• more videos while it's processing.
• Videos are limited to 10 minutes (unless you're a Director) and 100 MB.
• Videos saved with the following settings convert the best:
  MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format; 320x240 resolution; MP3 audio; 30 frames per second framerate
  

Tips: Slideshow Hyperlinks

Some tips for adding hyperlinks with Flash SlideShow Builder.

• Hidden Link
  Case: Make a picture presentation with a lot of contents.
  You may wish your readers to click the slides and jump to the other related presentation.
  How? Swap to "Decorate" tab and choose "Hyperlink" to type in your URL.
  
  
• Watermark Link
  Case: Add a watermark link which displays for the whole slideshow.
  It's for copy right protect, you could add your name or logo with links.
  How? Swap to "Publish" tab and choose "Hyperlink". It's available to make a choice - text link or image link.
  
  
• Action Link
  Case: Go to other webpage or presention when the slideshow is finished.
  If you submit your slideshow to blog or Myspace and would like to bring eye-balls from that to your website, the action link is extremely significant.
  How? Swap to "Publish" tab, choose "Others" and type in your URL at "Go to". It's better to choose target "_blank".
