Create moving xml image gallery with captions

Step 1: Download free xml image gallery template

Download free xml image gallery template and unzip it. The package should include _pic folder, photo.xml file and polaroid.swf file. Open polaroid.swf file to see the original samples as below picture, you can move the thumbnails in the motherboard by dragging the photos, and double click the photos to enlarge them.

Step 2: Add your digital photos to _pic folder

Choose your favorite digital photos to add into _pic folder. There is no quantity limitation and size limitation for digital photos.

Step 3: Edit XML file for adding digital photos

Open photos.xml file with a text editor, such as Dreamweaver MX. You will notice that all images are described with the following XML tag. You can place as many images as you want by copy and paste the xml code below and you just need to revise the red photo name to your own photo name.

Step 4: Add caption for each photo

Look the xml code again, you can add caption by revise the value of "desc" attribute. Just replace the red words to your own caption for your photos.

Step 5: Upload your xml image gallery on website

Copy and past the following HTML code to your website, such as MySpace, Blogger. So long as your website support HTML code, you can put it anywhere as you like. Don't forget to revise the red URL blow to your own URL.
