Windows Vista new SlideShow technology may be very useful with a switch off laptop. It allows to reach music and photos, and to check e-mails and other data.
Eleksen launches a very high tech laptop bag which has a 2.5 inch LCD display and the slideshow technology.
The module can receive data from the laptop PC either wirelessly through Bluetooth or via the USB connection depending on the application.
So you can communicate with your laptop even it is on, off or in sleep mode.
Additional controls can be added for enhanced functionality or to support new applications such as MP3 playback, photo album show, video clips, etc.
Still a prototype, the laptop bag should be on sale very soon.
